Jörg Spormann

My first experiences with Scotch Single Malt Whisky happened in 1998 with a Lagavulin. This one and the Bowmore 25 years some years later laid the foundation for my passion and - like Frank - was intensified since 2006 when I had the same flight of the Laphroaig single malt whisky aged 10, 15, 30 and 40 years at the Munich Whisky & Bar Festival as Frank. In 2010 the decision was made to celebrate Frank's birthday in 2017 on Islay and we need to be well prepared, of course!

In addition we participated in many whisky tastings and decided to manage and host our own ones. Therefore we finally founded “The Whisky Gentlemen e.V.” in 2013. And in 2017 the time has come to start our own business: a professional event agency with its focus: All About Whisky!
